If You don't take Advantage of the Low 2009 Prices, Will you loose out on one of the Best Real Estate Opportunities?
By now I think most of us are sick and tired of the Media telling us about the state of the Housing Market. Like how many homes there are for sale or how many foreclosures there are etc. Why is it that we are not hearing about some of the unbelievable deals that people who are purchasing property are getting right now???
Not everyone lost all of their investment $$$ in the stock market,,,Some of the more conservative types have been saving their money and now THEY have the opportunity to purchase a second home in the North GA Mountains at prices that we have not seen in over 8 years!! People with excellent credit can still get loans, but now they are finding mortgages at interest rates that are 5% or even less in some cases !!!!
I have seen some incredible real estate deals the 2nd half of 2008. For example, a 2BR/2BA brand new cabin on an acre lot WITH a nice mountain view, full unfinished BSMT, hardwood floors, fireplace, vaulted ceilings, wrap around porches, original price of $229,000,,, Reduced over and over again, facing foreclosure,my Buyers purchased it for $125,000 !!!
Or the home I sold on 3 lots for a total of over 4 acres, master on the main floor, open great room, year round mountain views in a great subdivision, full unfinished basement for $159,000 !!!!! ( keep the house on one lot and sell the other 2 lots ).
How about a large *** log sided cabin, brand new 2BR/2BA on a full basement with covered porches, great room, custom kitchen with a full upstairs for future growth, on an acre wooded lot in a great cabin community, original price $249,000, sold for $ 165,000 !!!!
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR???? I hope you won't be kicking yourself in a year or two for not taking advantage of the best time ever to buy a home in Blairsville or North GA. Blairsville has been named recently by GA Magazine as one of the best 10 cities to retire to . Union, Fannin and Towns counties have the best mountains closest to Atlanta!!! We have brand new subdivision lots that were priced from $50,000 to $80,000 now priced at $29,900!!! Brand new cabins that were $225-250,000 2 years ago are priced now at $179-199,000 !!!! What I am trying to say is that NOW is the time to buy. Not a great time to be selling because the competition is really high but if you have been waiting to purchase North GA Mountain property you could not find a better time. People that could not afford a cabin at $250,000 are buying them now for under $190,000!!! Get yourself a Buyers Agent and don't miss out!
