By now I think most of us are sick and tired of the Media telling us about the state of the Housing Market. Like how many homes there are for sale or how many foreclosures there are etc. Why is it that we are not hearing about some of the unbelievable deals that people who are purchasing property are getting right now???

According the the North East GA MLS this Morning there are still 685 Active Residential Listings and 1631 Active Listings for lots and acreage. WOW!!! That is allot of inventory for Union County to sell!!!
For the entire Month of November 2008 the same source shows there were only 16 Residential homes closed and 7 lots/acreage listings that closed. At this rate we have enough inventory to last us for many many years without even listing any more property!!!
Of the 16 homes sold in November, 13 of them were under $250,000 and of those 13, Eleven were UNDER $200,000. Only one home sold for over $500,000 and it was located on Lake Nottely.
Of the 7 lots/acreage that sold in November ONLY 2 were subdivision lots, three were small acreage, one RV lot and one commercial lot.
